Understanding Your Agreement
These terms ensure a smooth and fair experience for all our residents
Accommodation Terms
Minimum booking period is one semester (4 months)
Room assignments are subject to availability
Residents must be enrolled university students
Maximum occupancy limits must be respected
Room changes require 30 days advance notice
Payment & Billing
Full semester payment required before move-in
Security deposit of GH₵ 500 required for all bookings
Late payment fees apply after 7-day grace period
Refunds processed according to cancellation policy
All payments are in Ghana Cedis (GH₵)
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations 30+ days before move-in: 90% refund
Cancellations 15-29 days before: 50% refund
Cancellations less than 15 days: No refund
Emergency cancellations reviewed case-by-case
Security deposits refunded within 14 days
Liability & Responsibilities
Residents liable for damages to room and common areas
Besco Hostel not liable for personal belongings
Insurance coverage recommended for personal items
Residents must report maintenance issues promptly
Compliance with house rules is mandatory
